Karachi. Nov 09: Administrator Karachi Mohammad Hussain Syed has announced a three day cleanliness campaign to be carried out from 10th to 12th November.

He said that the civic bodies have performed well during the three days of Eid-ul-Azha by lifting a total of 940,879 offal of sacrificial animals on a timely basis and then burying it in trenches under scientific method.

Administrator Mohammad Hussain Syed said it was a big operation to perform and now a little bit cleaning work was left which will be carried out in the next three days.
Administrator Karachi visited different towns of city on Wednesday and checked the cleanliness conditions there after removal of offal.

He called it a big achievement for city administration to perform a big and difficult operation of lifting and burial of all offal in time and also maintain the cleanliness.

Administrator Karachi said that the civil society and city’s leadership also appreciated the performance of civic bodies while the citizens also provide full cooperation to city government and town administrations.

He expressed hope that the civic bodies and citizens of Karachi would show same spirit during the forthcoming cleanliness drive which was aimed at making the city clean and germ-free.
